The freight in mining industry is transported by the following machines:
Conveyers. They belong to continuous-type vehicles. They could be provided in the form of separate lines for horizontal movement of production or as part of loading plants that deliver rock from the working area to the transportation site.
Elevators. Designed for vertical lifting of loads. The bulk cargo is lifted to the surface with them. The buckets are used as a working tool which is fixed on belts or chains.
Mine electric locomotives. The power source is electric power produced by batteries or received from an external current supply through an overhead line. They are used to deliver various types of materials, tools, and personnel. Electric locomotives traverse on a narrow-gauge line and could be used as a transportation mean on the mine surface and the underground space.
